ONE BSR -bloggers are now selected

ONE BSR as international BSR project wants to show what this region has to offer and give the possibility to experience it as the locals do!

For realizing this, ONE BSR was searching in January/February 2013 for people from around the Baltic Sea, who were eager to present their daily lives and pulsating things about their region orcity as a regular blog on the international platform newsWave to people from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden and beyond. Artists, international researchers, entrepreneurs, travelers, students, members of a minority – in short: everybody with a worth telling story was announced to apply.

This competition aroused a lot of interest. Almost 50 bloggers applied to become a part of the intercultural BSR bloggers’ community. 13 bloggers from 8 different BSR countries had been selected and started blogging in the end of February. Their topics vary from “In the middle of Nowhere Land“ (Estonia) via “Sweden is more than Royal family and IKEA meatballs“ and “Kiel – the lifeline to the Baltic Sea” to “’Expat eyes’ on Copenhagen”.

This part of the ONE BSR project is aiming to an active use of new media and the promotion of local life in the different BSR countries and specific regions and towns. For ONE BSR the diversity of bloggers and topics is important to enhance the common BSR image and identity. So as bigger the diversity as better the project’s aims can be achieved – thus the ONE BSR blogger community is going to grow continuously!
