Cultural issues have recently gained much more weight in the strategies and policies for the Baltic Sea Region. Join the conference in Berlin on 18 April to discuss, what politics can do for the culture. And more in specific: what can we do for the culture of the Baltic Sea Region. Your story, your passion, your lifestyle makes the place.
Organised in the occasion of the Kick-Off Event of the new Priority Area Culture and Cultural Identity in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, the World Café, starting at 15.30, invites participants to discuss these questions and practice-oriented solutions which are then debated in a plenary session.
ONE Baltic Sea Region –project (ONE BSR) is organizing one of the World Café sessions, “Contribution to the BSR cultural identity”. Using a storytelling-method, the moderator Christine Erlach, an experienced storyteller from NARRATA Consult, helps the participants to dig into the cultural identity of the Baltic Sea Region. During the session, a common storyline is created of the potpourri of individual ideas.
ONE BSR Project calls together actors, who identify and market themselves as part of the Baltic Sea Region. In the absence of a strong common brand, we search for common commercial and cultural characteristics with a concrete hands-on approach. Come and join us in Berlin!
